Effective 17 August 2026 · Version v2026.08.17
We want everyone to be able to read what we publish and take the course they paid for. This page explains what we aim for, what we have actually built, where we currently fall short, and how to get help.
What we aim for
Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, across both redheroz.com and the Learning Center at learn.redheroz.com.
We aim to conform to that standard. We do not claim we currently meet it everywhere. We do not run formal third-party audits and we hold no accreditation, so we do not claim conformance testing we have not done. This site is run by one person, and honest reporting is more useful to you than a badge.
What we have done
These are deliberate choices, not accidents:
- The site works without JavaScript. All content on redheroz.com is visible and readable with JavaScript turned off. Animation is layered on top of the page and never reveals or hides content.
- Motion respects your system setting. If your operating system has "reduce motion" turned on, the motion system is switched off automatically. You do not have to find a setting on our site.
- Forms have real labels. Inputs are labelled rather than relying on placeholder text alone.
- Keyboard navigation works. You can move through redheroz.com with a keyboard, and the Learning Center is built the same way. If you find somewhere the keyboard gets stuck, tell us.
- Images carry alternative text so screen readers can describe them.
Known limitations
We would rather list these than let you discover them:
- Colour contrast. Some small text rendered in the brand red does not meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum against the site's near-black background. This is a real failure, not a design preference, and we are changing those colour values.
- Captions and transcripts. The video and audio lessons in the Learning Center do not yet have captions or transcripts, and that work is not finished. In the meantime, email hello@redheroz.com and we will send you a transcript of a lesson on request.
There may be other problems we have not found. If you hit one, please tell us.
Third-party services
Some parts of the experience are not ours to fix. The hosted checkout page that handles payment is built and operated by Stripe, Inc. Where a video is embedded, it is served by YouTube (Google LLC). These services have their own accessibility practices and we cannot change how they behave. If a third-party step is blocking you from buying or using something, email us and we will try to find another way to get it done.
Getting help or another format
Email hello@redheroz.com. It is the fastest way to reach us and it goes to a person, not a queue.
It helps if you can tell us:
- the page address, for example redheroz.com/courses or a lesson page in the Learning Center;
- what you were trying to do;
- what went wrong; and
- what you were using, if you know it — browser, screen reader, phone or computer.
We aim to reply within a few business days. We cannot promise a fixed response time or a fixed repair time, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we will do is answer you, tell you honestly whether and when we can fix the underlying problem, and where we can, give you the content another way — a transcript, a plain-text version, or a direct file.
If an accessibility barrier stops you using something you bought and we cannot find a way around it, we will refund you — whether or not the 30-day guarantee period has run. See the Refund Policy.
About this statement
We publish this because it is the right thing to do, not because a regulator has asked us to. We will update it as we fix the limitations above and as we find new ones.
